The glass studio, located in the old glass factory, is part of the museum display. Glassmakers Pavel Hasala and Mariko Seki vividly demonstrate their skills and craft. Under professional supervision (and without making a reservation) visitors have the opportunity to blow a glass ball (€10/piece). If the glassblowers are present there is the chance to blow at least 10 glass balls. Please ask the staff in the museum if there is a change to assist more than ten guests blowing a ball. The preferred times doing this practical job are 2-3 p.m. and 11-12 a.m – other times might be asked at the counters. Reservations are not possible. Other creative worshops could be offered instead.
Next to the museum is an oven, made by Pika, which is available for glassmaking courses. More information about glassmaking courses can be found here
